PLEASE USE CAR PICK UP LOOPS ACCORDING TO SCHOOL DIRECTIONS! Please do not allow your student to remain in Amhurst Park directly before or after school. To be in the park you must be a resident of Vista Lakes, have your Vista Lakes I.D. card, and must 12 years of age or older. Under the age of 12 you must be supervised by an adult 18 years or older. Orlando Police Department will be monitoring the park and are authorized to trespass violators. If you have any questions or concerns or need Vista Lakes Resident’s I.D please contact the Vista Lakes Community Director, Sharon Eichorn at 407-207-7003.
STONE CRABS SWIM TEAM (est. 1991) PRIVATE SWIMMING LESSONS GROUP SWIMMING LESSONS AT VISTA LAKES - New Students Welcome Monday and Wednesday 11:00am and/or Tuesday and Thursday 11:00am Tuesday and Thursday 5:30pm VISTA LAKES SWIM TEAM in the FALL- New swimmers ALWAYS welcome! Cost: $56 USA Swimming registration fee (this annual USA Swimming fee will be not expire until December 31, 2010! This is a 16 month registration! We will continue to practice at the Vista Lakes Pool location until the water goes below 80 degrees. At that point the swimmers in our program are invited to join us at our year-round heated pool at Englewood Pool or the Winter Park High School. Practices will be in the evening from approximately 5:00pm to 7:30pm, Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Additional information will be provided as we approach the time of moving to the heated pool site. Current practices: August 24th - September 6th. Practices will continue to meet every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday at 4:45pm at the Vista Lakes Pool. New swimmers may join at any time (we will pro-rate the August and the first week of September) so please join NOW!

Vista lakes Elementary School will be hosting a YMCA summer camp. The adventure starts June 14th and the summer will include trips to Camp Wewa, Scavenger Hunts, wacky science projects and plenty of water days. The Price is $96 per week. Neighborhood Briefings are monthly briefings from the Office of Neighborhood & Community Affairs to inform neighborhood leaders about City events, programs and services and other pertinent information for leaders to share with association members and neighbors.
Orange County is holding a series of FREE! Community Connections Workshops. Usually held on the 2nd Saturday of every month, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, they are designed to help residents make the most of their neighborhoods with topics ranging from "What it Takes to Keep Neighborhhoods Safe" to "Increasing Neighborhood Involvement".
