Important Lawn Care Notice
During recent inspections within the community we have noticed a significant increase in the number of lawns with areas of dead grass. These areas are most likely caused by cinch bug activity. Please check your grass if you see any areas of brown or dead grass forming. The quicker you address the issue the more likely you will be able to save the lawn. Products to control cinch bugs are available at any home improvement or landscape store.

Lane Closures Scheduled on Lee Vista Blvd. The lane closures will take place between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. from April 21, 2009 and will last for approximately three weeks. Variable message boards are in place to assist motorists. Motorists are urged to slow down, obey the posted speed limit, and drive with extreme caution through the work zone. Speeding fines are doubled in the construction zone when workers are present. Please be advised that weather and unforeseen circumstances may affect the construction schedule. |

Congressman Alan Grayson is hosting a Town Hall meeting with the Army Corp of Engineers concerning the Orlando/Pinecastle Bombing Range. This event will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 7:30 pm at Vista Lakes Elementary School.
Alternatively the Vista Lakes Community Association is hosting its first "Movie in the Park" of the summer, with Disney's "Wall-e" starting around sunset.
On Saturday, residents are encouraged to participate in the Community Garage Sale, from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm, to benefit from the advertising and signage which should bring plenty of buyers. |
