The Vista Lakes Community Association, (VLCA) is comprised of all the homeowners in Vista Lakes. The VLCA is managed by an elected seven member Board of Directors comprised of Vista Lakes residents. The VCLA owns the Amenities Complex (pools, tennis courts, buildings, etc.) and the parks. The VLCA is responsible for the operation and maintenance of VCLA-owned assets.

[In addition to the property owned by homeowners, commercial interests and the VLCA, property along side of the major roads, lakes and ponds and the land immediately surrounding them, and other property is owned by the Vista Lakes Community Development District (CDD)(*); ownership is shown on this map].

The VLCA Board of Directors convenes regularly scheduled and noticed meetings. All Board meetings are noticed on the VistaLakesFL.com web site on both the home page under “Upcoming Events” and on the calendar page, as well as in the Vista Lakes newsletter which is available online and is either mailed or emailed to each property owner. Also, courtesy reminders for all Board meetings are placed in front of each neighborhood entrance several days prior to each meeting. All meetings start at 6:30 pm at either the Residents' Club or Odyssey Middle School, per the official notice. All Board meetings are open to members of VLCA and each meeting starts with an open forum where members of VLCA are invited to voice their views and ask questions to the Board. Minutes of all Board meetings are posted on this website.

In addition to the open forums, the Board keeps residents informed through quarterly newsletters, this website, meeting minutes, and various other documents. Residents may contact individual Board members via the email links below, send email to the entire , or leave a note in the suggestion box at the pool office.

As provided for by the Bylaws, the Board has established a number of committees to help in the administration of Vista Lakes. The Board has defined committee authority and provides oversight (except for the Architectural Review Committee whose authority is defined by the Governing Documents) as documented in Committee Responsibilities and Authority.
