John Daly - President
John and his family have lived in Florida since 2005 and moved to Vista Lakes in 2009.  He currently serves as the Director of Corporate Operations at the U.S. Navy center for research, development, test and evaluation, and acquisition of training systems at Research Park. Prior to working for the Navy as a civilian, he worked as an executive in the Department of Homeland Security after a 24 year career in the U.S. Coast Guard.  He twice served at the White House during his career, working directly for the President of the United States. 
He is a graduate of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy and has an MBA from the College of William & Mary.  In addition, he is an Associate Faculty at Valencia College where he teaches homeland security and criminal justice courses. He has a Real Estate Certificate from Valencia College and served as President of a Homeowner's Association (HOA) in South Florida at a community similar in size and style to Vista Lakes.
Gary Mitchell - Vice President
Gary has dedicated his career to discovering ways of helping good people who have experienced misfortune in their lives acquire the financial assistance they need.  AmeriCU Mortgage has allowed Gary to pursue his desire to continue the work.  Since January 2015 Gary has overseen the development of the Southeastern United States with AmeriCU Mortgage. Prior to AmeriCU, Gary was a leader with Partner’s Federal Credit Union (which began in June of 2005) his responsibilities encompassed oversight of Loan Services.  Previous responsibilities: Consumer Lending functions which included Loan Phone and Web Center, Indirect Lending, Second Mortgages, Quality Assurance and Collections.
Before joining Partners, Gary spent 10 years with Community Credit Union where he gained valuable experiences at Vice President level.  His areas of responsibility included Lending, Collections, Chairman of the Facilities Committee, Business Lending Committee, Branch Sales and Marketing.  With the support of his wife and three children, in 2013 his dream to further his education through the Master’s program at the University of Central Florida was recognized.  The additional knowledge has proven to be very beneficial in applying different perspectives to contemporary views.   He and his family have spent the past 9 plus years in Vista Lakes where his interest include cooking recipes from his native New Orleans, tennis and spending time with friends and family.
Andres Bernal
Andy and his family have lived in Florida since 2005. They first moved to Lee Vista Square where Andres served on the Board from 2005, first as Secretary and later as President.  Andres and his wife Iva have 3 kids and bought a house in Pembroke in 2012. Andres has been in aviation since 1998 and has served in various management and training positions.
Currently, he flies for a US carrier and spends most of his time at home with his family. He likes to get involved in his community and looks forward to making improvements to help Vista Lakes continue to be a great place for families to live.
Katherine Sebestyen
Katherine was appointed to the Board in 2012. She was previously on the boards of the Hingham, MA Historical Society and the Hingham Garden Club (President). While living in Sydney, she was on the boards of The American Club, The Australian-American Association and The American Women’s Club (President).
Joining her husband, Frank, on a work related assignment in Bermuda, Katherine served as a docent at the Bermuda National Gallery and worked with the Bermuda Film Festival. Returning to the US, Katherine joined the staff of the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, CT as a docent.  Katherine and Frank moved to Warwick in 2009 to be near two of their three grown children and two granddaughters.
Bill Pass
Bill was elected to the Board in 2017. He is a Florida native and has lived with his family in Vista Lakes since 2002. Since retiring from Orange County in 2016 Bill has sought to serve Vista Lakes in several capacities in order to help maintain and preserve the lifestyle of our diverse neighborhood. He was raised and worked in the construction industry which originally led him to serve on the Architectural Review Committee. He was appointed to the CDD where he strives to maintain our CDD properties in a manner consistent with the HOA amenities and have Vista Lakes present a vibrant image where people desire and are proud to live. 
Bill served in the U. S. Navy as a pilot prior to returning to Miami where he worked in one of the Southeast’s largest companies in the finishing trades including construction work in the Panama Canal Zone. He moved to Orlando in the mid 1970’s where he continued in the construction field. Later he began a career with Orange County Government as a District Maintenance Supervisor and Program Manager performing housing rehabilitation for qualified low-income homeowners to maintain healthy, safe and useful housing. During his career he has served on numerous industry and community associations and boards as well as being a mediator in Orange County helping to resolve varied consumer issues.  Bill has the ability and desire to remain an active part in his community by serving in any capacity where he can meld the desires of all our homeowners to keep us as one of the most desirable neighborhoods to live.
Devin Hackwith - Treasurer
Devin and his wife have lived in Orlando for over 15 years and have lived in Vista Lakes for the last nine years in Colonie.  He has been employed with Siemens for the last 19 years currently focusing on Big Data, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence.  He has won several Corporate Finance awards and accolades for projects resulting in cost savings of over $50m.  He has worked as a internal auditor performing audits in over 47 countries.  He has also worked as a small business consultant for both for profit and non profit businesses including American Red Cross and United Way.  
Devin has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Arkansas and a MBA with a dual concentration in Finance and Process Improvement from Rollins College in Winter Park.  His interests include Sentient AI, improving hurricane tracking and forecasting using mathematical modeling, cycling, and fishing.  He and his wife enjoy bucket list travel and cruising.
John DeCrotie - Secretary (interim)
John and his family have lived in Newport since building their home here in 2004.  Prior to starting his tour company 15 years ago, he worked at Universal Orlando in the Youth Group Sales and Marketing Department for several years. His current company, Group Travel Consultants, specializes in creating, organizing and facilitating group trips for all group types to destinations across the USA and a few foreign destinations.
John currently sits on industry and community boards and committees.  He is an Executive Officer with the Florida Association of Student Trips (FASET) and Chairs their Legislative Committee for Government Affairs.  In addition, he sits on the Board of Directors for the BBB of Central Florida and is a member for the Trade Practice Committee. Locally, he is a member of the Vista Lakes Architectural Committee (ARC) and has recently been appointed to the Vista Lakes CDD.
Most importantly, John is a proud father of 4 young men, 3 of which are grown and have moved out leaving their youngest, Sean who is a student at Colonial High School. Having lived in Orlando a majority of his life and in Vista Lakes a majority of that time, he is proud to live here and enjoys the opportunity to be involved in making the community a better place for every resident.
